Carrboro has a big personality with a unique culture and various things to do. The Carrboro Music Festival is an annual event, established in 1998, designed to make all genres of music accessible and enjoyable. The community also hosts the Carrboro Film Festival to bring awareness to independent cinema and celebrate arts within the community.
 
Outside of the festivals, residents can live music in the 750-seat venue, Cat’s Cradle which has been bringing amazing bands to Carrboro for decades.
